Vice-Chancellor’s Annual Awards is back to celebrate colleagues’ outstanding achievements

The nominations for this year’s Vice-Chancellor’s Annual Awards will be open throughout May 2024.

This is the third year of the annual Vice-Chancellor’s Awards, which recognise and celebrate the ways staff from around the University have demonstrated their commitment to the University's aims and values.

Vice-Chancellor Nick Jennings commented: “As we move into the third edition of these awards at É«¹·µ¼º½, it is hugely important to me that we take the opportunity to celebrate the outstanding work of our staff over the past year. The University could not achieve what it does without the hard work, dedication and creativity of individuals and teams from across our campuses.

“Building on the successes of 2023, I encourage all colleagues to nominate those who you recognise as making a real difference. I look forward to reading the nominations and celebrating the achievements of our finalists at the awards ceremony in September.”

You can hear from some of last year’s winners after receiving a Vice-Chancellor’s Award in the video below:

All nominations will be reviewed by a judging panel over the summer months, and all those who are shortlisted will be invited to an awards ceremony in September.

The nominations window closes on Friday 31 May, 2024.
