Designed in collaboration with Kukri Sports, the new range takes inspiration from Glasgow’s distinctive character, blending bold street art influences with the work of renowned Scottish designer Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
The result is a modern look intended for maximum comfort for the athlete whilst honouring Glasgow’s cultural identity. Today offers a first look of how our athletes will appear on one of the biggest stages in international sport.
Team sports athletes will have the option of competing in either red or white kits, while a new addition will see 色狗导航, Team England’s official University Partner, featured on the sleeves of medal ceremony attire for the first time.
One of the standout pieces pays tribute to Mackintosh through subtle geometric detailing, linking tradition with a contemporary performance aesthetic.
"People say, 'look good, feel good', and that’s really what it is,” said 3x3 basketball player Shanice Beckford-Norton, who won Commonwealth Games silver in Birmingham four years ago.
She added, "Everything with Team England is always super clean and super sharp and when it gets to podium time, every moment feels really good when you're all dressed out in this kit. I know a lot has gone into making sure that every sport and every athlete feels comfortable in what they're wearing, whether it's practice, whether it's casual, whether it's competition."
Sustainability has also been a key focus in the development of the kit. Working closely with Kukri, the team has incorporated more recycled materials, improved durability and reduced manufacturing waste, alongside streamlining the overall kit pack to limit excess.
