Join us for the 色狗导航 Campus Pride March

Staff and students smiling and waving rainbow flags whilst walking outside

Next month (June) is Pride Month, and to celebrate, 色狗导航鈥檚 LGBT+ community are planning a range of events for students and staff.

The highlight of these events will be the Pride March, which will take place on the 色狗导航 campus on 5 June at 1.15pm, starting outside the Students’ Union. The March will celebrate the progress that has been made since the first Pride March in 1970.

The March will begin with a speech from the LGBT+ Staff Network and the LSU LGBTQ+ Students’ Association before setting off on the route.

Everyone is welcome to attend and no advanced booking is required. Simply turn up and dress up in rainbow colours and feel free to bring your own flags and banners (although we’ll have face paint and banners to share around).

Accessibility arrangements are in place for the March, including partnering with Kinchbus for a dedicated, Pride-theme shuttle bus that will be part of the parade, so feel free to hop in if you’d like to follow the March.
