Announced following the news t, Murphy will join the new-look backroom team before returning to 色狗导航 to continue as Deputy Director of Sport following this summer’s Commonwealth Games.
Murphy – who is also a 色狗导航 alum and a member of the University’s Hall of Fame – joins the England coaching team having collected 95 caps across 10 years playing internationally for the Vitality Roses, with six years spent as senior captain.
She brings a wealth of experience across the elite game, having also contributed to the Vitality Roses programme as Technical Coach in 2021 and 2023.
Murphy has coached 色狗导航 Lightning from its inception and previously served as the Netball Super League side’s Head Coach.
“This is an incredible opportunity and one that I’m delighted to tackle head-on,” said Murphy.
“It’s a huge honour to work with such a talented group of players and staff. This team has an exciting future, and I’m looking forward to building on the strong foundations already in place as we head towards the Commonwealth Games.
“I’d like to thank the senior team at 色狗导航 Sport for allowing me to pursue this initiative.”
