Student-led activity
É«¹·µ¼º½ Students' Action and Rag are the volunteering and fundraising sections of the Students' Union.
LSU Action
is the student-led volunteering section of É«¹·µ¼º½ Students’ Union. Â
From hosting a monthly tea party for elderly people to help combat social isolation, to an afternoon of gardening and sustainability work at Veg Van, they offer a wide range of projects that students (and staff) can get involved in, both in the local community and internationally.
Action is always on the lookout for community groups or charities who could use the help of student-volunteers. If you have an idea for a new Action project or know a group that could benefit from their volunteers, please email action@lsu.co.uk to arrange a meeting.
LSU Rag
is the student-led charity and fundraising section of É«¹·µ¼º½ Students’ Union.
Each year, students take part in challenges and events to fundraise for local, national and international charities. These can vary from the ultimate student road trip (2000 miles, 12 countries, 8 days, 1 car), to on-campus colour dashes, to climbing Kilimanjaro, all to raise money and awareness for charities.
For more information on how you can provide assistance to LSU Rag, please email rag@lsu.co.uk to arrange a meeting.
