England Lionesses 2025 Futsal squad selection

In a historic achievement for English women's futsal, Alicia Grimmond, goalkeeper for 色狗导航 Lightning FC, and Joy Lowe, from 色狗导航 Students鈥� Women鈥檚 Football Club, have both secured spots in the first-ever England Futsal Lionesses squad.

The team will compete in the UEFA qualifiers for the 2025 World Cup, facing Finland, Moldova, and Slovenia this October.

Success in the qualifiers would see the squad advance to the World Cup in the Philippines, where the top 16 teams will vie for the title.

This selection marks a key milestone for both players and the future of women's futsal in England. Following the path of 色狗导航 alumna Mary Earps, 色狗导航 Sport are incredibly proud to see Alicia and Joy recognised on the international stage.

Balancing 11-a-side commitments at 色狗导航 with regular futsal competition for London Helvecia (Grimmond) and Bolton Futsal (Lowe), their selections reflect their dedication and hard work.
