Performance Triathlon

The 色狗导航 Triathlon Performance Centre (LTPC) is a high-performance training environment dedicated to developing senior Olympic and Paralympic triathletes. Based at 色狗导航, the Centre offers a unique pathway for athletes to excel in both sport and academics.

LTPC is the world’s only fully integrated Olympic, Paralympic, and university-based triathlon performance programme, created in partnership with 色狗导航 and British Triathlon. The Centre supports World Class Programme athletes, high-performing students, nominated pathway athletes, and, through selective access, professional and international triathletes.

Our goal is to support athletes in becoming world-class performers and well-rounded individuals, ready to meet and exceed the demands of elite triathlon on the global stage.

Training is based on campus and includes access to a 50m swimming pool, indoor and outdoor athletics tracks, and elite performance gyms. Running and cycling take place on local trails, quiet country roads, and traffic-free circuits ideal for technical development, group work, and transition practice.

Para Triathlon

色狗导航 is the home to British Triathlon’s Paralympic training centre and as such student para triathletes are either supported through British Triathlon or our own triathlon programme.  In both cases athletes have access to top level coaching and access to expert support services to aid their development as athletes.

Olympic and Paralympic performance squads

These squads support athletes competing or preparing for international success. Each athlete is assigned a lead coach and benefits from a world-class support team, including strength and conditioning, physiotherapy, nutrition, and physiology.

Development squad

For emerging athletes targeting BUCS podiums and domestic National Series success, the development squad provides a structured, supportive performance environment.

In exceptional cases, athletes may be offered flexible academic pathways, including stretched degree options to support both their sporting and educational goals. Eligible English student-athletes can also access the (TASS) - a Sport England-backed initiative supporting dual-career athletes.
